🚫 MYTH: “Getting older means weight gain, low energy, and health problems are inevitable.”

✅ FACT: Age plays a role, but many of the health challenges we associate with aging are influenced by lifestyle factors that can be improved.

Research shows that nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, social connection, and other daily habits have a significant impact on metabolic health, energy levels, brain function, and overall well-being.

At LMREI, we believe:
💡 Disease is not inevitable.
💡 Health is built, not bought.
💡 Small, consistent changes often create the biggest long-term results.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s progress.

What’s one health myth you’ve heard that you’d love to see us bust next?

One of the most rewarding parts of practicing lifestyle medicine is seeing people discover what’s possible when we address health at the root cause.

Every person’s journey is unique, but stories like this remind me why I do this work.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside individuals as they pursue better health, more energy, and renewed hope.

06/02/2026

Healing starts when someone finally listens. ❤️

So many people are told their symptoms are “normal” when deep down they know something isn’t right. We’re honored to walk alongside patients as they begin getting answers and hope again.

06/02/2026

Sometimes the body whispers before it screams.

The exhaustion.
The brain fog.
The stress.
The inflammation.
The poor sleep.
The feeling that you’re constantly “pushing through.”

So many people are functioning in survival mode and calling it normal.

At Lifestyle Medicine Research & Education Institute, Dr. Wendy Dick’s Summer Reset Consultations are designed to help people look deeper than symptoms and begin understanding what may actually be happening in the body.

Because sometimes the issue isn’t a lack of discipline or motivation.
Sometimes the body simply needs support, restoration, and a new direction.

If you’ve been feeling “off” and know something needs to change, this may be your sign to finally prioritize your health this summer. ☀️

In-person and Zoom consultations available.

Comment “RESET” for information.

Can’t focus? Forgetting simple things? Walking into rooms wondering why you’re there?

Brain fog is incredibly common… but it is not normal.

Inflammation, stress overload, poor gut health, blood sugar instability, toxins, poor sleep, and nervous system dysfunction can all impact cognitive clarity.

You deserve to feel sharp, energized, and mentally present again.
