Hello hello, I’m Yaya Anusiem— Cosmetologist/CMM, Founder of The Standard Beauty Bar, and Lash Educator.

I create beauty for my clients and help women step confidently into the beauty industry with skill, structure, and intention ✨

Whether I’m behind the chair or with students, my goal is the same — to raise the standard and remind women of what they’re capable of 🙌🏾😌

I’m big on discipline and systems (Virgo through and through), but I also believe in softness and alignment. I’m a goal-setter at heart — the type to write things down and actually execute ⚡️

I’m a super active girly — but movement is deeper than fitness for me. Yoga taught me how to slow down and regulate. Pilates refines me. Strength training builds resilience. Running reminds me I can push past limits. It’s how I stay grounded while building 😝

I romanticize my life, I’m a proud dog mom, traveler, and music is my getaway. If you ever sit in my chair, just know the playlist matters — from soulful R&B to high-energy electronic/house depending on the vibe 😝
