After 12-and-a-half years, it is with sadness that I announce Courtney Skin Care Studio has officially closed. Rachel and I started this business in 2010 during a major recession and built it up from nothing. It almost survived the pandemic. Almost.

It has been my privilege and pleasure to work with Rachel, without doubt, the most talented and professional esthetician in the state. With care and skill, she built a loyal, dedicated clientele.

It has been our pleasure to be of service and we wish you a New Year full of joy and prosperity after two years of extraordinary adversity.

Goodbye to the summer heat and sun damage~~it's time to transition. (Skin care changes with the seasons, just like your clothing.)

For September:

Autumn Glow Peel $75 (one hour)

This facial includes:

~cleanse with skin-specific product (Manuka Honey, Salicylic or Purifying Cleanser)
~dermaplane

~gentle Vitamin A peel or Pumpkin Enzyme peel
~extractions if needed
~serum application

Intense peels and peel series (salicylic, glycolic, lactic, brightening) are available at $75.00 per treatment or 6 (progressively deeper, great prep for Jessner) for $380.00.

It won't be long until it heats up and your skincare regimen, like your clothing, should be seasonal. What works for winter skin will not work for summer skin.

Transitioning to summer means using lighter skincare ingredients, loads of sun protection, and lots of hydration. Some products will even make you more prone to sun damage in the summer! Let me help you choose approaches to summer sun--products and treatments that are healthier for your skin. SPF is your new best friend! Keep hyperpigmentation and sun damage away with a good sunblock with great ingredients.

Waxing: Bikini line $25 (and up) Underarms $25 Upper thigh and bikini line $45 (and up)

Facials: Remember, heavy exfoliation during the very hot months is a definite no! If you want peels and dermaplanes in combination, we need to schedule them in the evenings only and after a consultation to assure what results you wish to achieve. Sweat, sun and heat are counterproductive.

Any facial over $100 will be 20% off until September 1.
