With a heavy heart I have decided to close the salon. This has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. I stuck it out as long as I could thinking I could come back but my body just isn’t ready. Cancer has taken a lot out of me mentally and physically. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart! Thank you for trusting me all these years with your hair and all the referrals to build my business. I have built so many friendships and we have laughed and cried! I hope you all have found the best salon to go to while I’ve been out. If you need a referral please let me know. 👋Hey guys! Just wanted to check in. Thank you all for being patient and thinking about me. I am doing so much better. ❤️ However I still have infusions untill Aug and will be on Xeloda (chemo pills) till Oct. I miss you all and hope to be back to work when all this is over. It’s just really hard for me still to take 8 chemo pills and 7 others a day, while planning meals and still going to labs/doctor’s appointments. I never really know when the side effects are going to hit or how I’m going to feel. It’s just day to day. But it’s soo much better. It was really scary for a while. I will post here and contact everyone when I’m back. Untill then I have posted a picture of Lindsay’s contact info and have posted a link to her website. I worked at Loft B with Lindsey for a few years and she’s awesome. I want everyone to know how much I miss you and miss working. My port was placed yesterday! Doing well just sore and tired.👏

When first asked about doing a GOFUNDME I said no. But after my first week or chemo I realized I was going to need more help then I was ready to admit. I’m so thankful to everyone who has donated and helped with my Amazon list. I’m blown away at how generous everyone has been. This year is going to be the hardest time of my life. Mentally, physically, and financially. Please help by liking and sharing with your friends. ♥️

2 round of chemo down. I should start loosing most of my hair now. I went ahead and had Ray cut it last night when she came to pick up the salon key! I’m excited for you guys to meet my best friend or anyone that you have been referred to. Everyone should take great care of you. Many of you have already been informed I’ve recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I begin my first round of chemo this Friday and have been told I will be receiving the strongest form of treatment weekly for up to a year along with a surgery and possibly radiation. This is hard for me to say after the years it’s taken for me to build my business up and the relationships I’ve developed with my clientele, but it’s going to be difficult on myself to heal and I might not be physically able to work.

My chemo days are scheduled for Friday’s and I’ve been told I’ll only be at my best 1 or 2 days a week I’ve decided to having a friend of mine, Ray who’s a fantastic stylist and I fully trust my clients with to help take on some appointments until I can take on more. I’m very thankful for her and for you working with me through this time. I just hate the idea of adding clients to my schedule and then having to cancel because I’m too weak or sick. This is something I have put a great deal of thought into, I’ve even had to close my permanent makeup business that I just recently started. I feel like I’ve taken ten steps forward and a hundred back.

With all this being said I just don’t know, I’m preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.

I will be giving you Ray’s info to book and my business page will stay open to taking appointments for her and possibly myself when and if I will be able to take a day here and there. You can also call and just give me the latest salon chair gossip. I’ll need all the mind breaks I can get. Thank you for being so understanding and kind to me during all this. I really love and appreciate each one of you. Please take the time to do your yearly exams and also your self exams. I have made a group page if you want to follow along.
