On to new adventures..

Friends, I decided I couldn’t get though a live without crying so your getting a long ass post instead.

I will be closing The Roan Cow this year.

Currently I’m not sure on my timeline just yet as I have raw materials I’d like to use up first. But once supplies are gone, I’ll be turning off the website as well.

Now that im ugly crying…

This was and still in an incredibly difficult decision to make. This is our 8th year in business and huge part of my day to day. I am sad and I am happy all at the same time. This business far exceeded my expectations and brought in so many friends and acquaintances I could have never met without it.

What started as an idea for an ice cream shop quickly turned into a soap company after several conversations during vet check with a friend. Who by the way was actively trying to talk me out of purchasing water buffalo for said ice cream shop …. For the record, I still want one…

Over the next 8 years I formulated and tested all the recipes you friends have come to know and love. I also enjoyed purchasing every single fragrance oil know to man. And spelling all of the things wrong, almost my favorite part!

Running this business taught me just as much about running a successful business as it did about balancing my life. Which at the time I very much sucked it.

Today I can tell you however that I’m in a place I’ve never been before. About as close to content, as I’ll ever be. And I’m incredibly grateful, humbled and excited to be here. I’m excited for the my next chapter whatever that might be.

And most of all I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for you. Yes, you reading this. Each one of you has been apart of my journey and shaped me in ways you might never know. Every win we have shared and every miss spelled label we’ve laughed at clicked one more small piece of my puzzle together. Thank you for cheering me on and loving The Roan Cow as much as I do ❤️
