📚Let's learn a little bit about our teeth!

The main parts that make up a tooth are:
•Enamel
•Dentin
•Pulp

🪖The Enamel is one of the most durable substances in the human body. Minerals like calcium and phosphate strengthen the enamel. It is white translucent color which makes teeth shiny.

🧬The Dentin has 3 inner layers. The natural color of dentin is yellow. It is made up of 70% hydroxyapatite (a mineral found in teeth and bones). Dentin holds a lot of the tooth genetics such as, aging and trauma. These are all factors for whitening.

🚨The Pulp holds nerve endings and blood vessels. It is the tooth's natural alarm system. It is a jelly like core in your tooth.
