All we see is beautiful hair by hair Microblading or nano brows on feeds these days and I love that 😍

I would love to enter that style soon 😬

BUT that’s not possible with people with existing work unless it’s super light or if you get laser hair removal. For some laser is not an option.

In the meantime let’s talk about cover ups of existing work weather it was old school tattoo, shading technique or etc.

Here we have brows done elsewhere. She was happy with shape coming in the door and happy with dark brows. Wanted a touch up/ refresh the color.

At consultation it’s didn’t seem like the previous work was very deep into the skin. Offered color correction, and talked about colors to cover up the work to refresh it understanding we can’t go lighter… And may need a couple sessions to perfect the goal outcome. She understood and we proceeded.

Second pic : immediately after color neutralization.
& a tiny bit of shape tweaking.

Last pic: irritated swollen no edit brows right after 😬
You can see the bright halo light around her brows they are swollen totally normal and will subside 2-3 hrs.

⏳📆 Now we wait for 7-14 days of healing and pealing and 4-5 weeks to see final color & 6 weeks at minimum if needed for touch up… it can be 6 weeks or 1 year we will see how the color adapts over existing work, after care, skin doing its job and etc.

This is real people’s real situations not everyone has the privilege to start from 0 to get the trending brows but it can be an option with laser tattoo removal. ✨

The before picture is a perfect example of when it’s time for a color refresher.

It’s normal for brows to fade out and loose its richness in color or sharpness of shape.

This work was done by someone else and she was ready for a refresher to eve out her brow color.
