I took my daughter, Loretta, to JCPenney Beauty to see the LAMIK shelf in person for the first time. I was soaking in the moment, feeling the weight of the journey it took to get here, from a local makeup shop in Houston to a national retailer.
Then, Loretta looked at the display and said: "Next time, we’re going to have our own section. All of this will be ours."
