Some people read the label wrong at first glance and call it Lady Bites 😳 🤣.
You've heard of yoni soaps, but I call mine Lady Bits, a soap especially made for the intimate body parts that need a little extra care, and men can use it, too. Made with apple cider vinegar, yogurt and honey, it gently cleans the nether regions without drying the delicate skin in that area.

It's turmeric! The main compound in turmeric, curcumin, inhibits an enzyme called tyrosinase, which is responsible for melanin production. Turmeric Soap works over time to gently reduce hyperpigmentation and brighten the skin, but consistent use is necessary to maintain results.

I don't talk about this soap enough. It's a soap created especially for the face.
Dahlia Face Soap is made with a generous amount of rosehip oil and sweet almond oil to cleanse the skin of makeup (including eye makeup), oil, and sweat without drying the skin. Gentle for everyday use, it's what I wash with every evening, followed by toner, face oil and moisturizer, to reset my skin for the next day.
Find it on my farmer's market table and on my website (link in bio).

I've been hearing from pet owners that their dogs have allergies or sensitive skin, or that they're scratching and licking incessantly at paws. The problem may be diet, but it could also be the dog shampoo you (or the groomer) is using.
Dog shampoo is full of synthetic ingredients that can potentially dry out the dog's skin. That's where natural Dog Soap comes in to solve the problem. Not only is it 100% natural, but I use key ingredients to nourish a dog's skin: A high percentage of Rice Bran Oil that's rich in vitamin E, Karanja Oil that acts as an antifungal to rid your dog of the fungus that loves to grow between the toes, and an extra dose of glycerin to moisturize their skin (even though glycerin naturally develops during the soapmaking process).
An added plus is that your dog will not go rolling around in the grass or dirt trying to get the smell off because the scent is a mix of lavender and geranium essential oils that act as flea repellents. It's a double win 🙌
Healthy skin = happy dog 🐶
Read on for the reviews I've recently received on my website:
🌟 Laura wrote, "I have an Aussie with especially sensitive skin. He used to scratch until he bled, no matter what I used on him from medicated shampoos to regular dog shampoo. But this dog soap is the best I've found for him. As long as I wash him with this soap every other week he doesn't have a problem. He doesn't scratch and stays calm. I'll be buying this soap forever."
🌟 Pat wrote, "My dog is really neurotic. He's bothered by everything and always biting at his paws and skin. I used the dog soap on him and all the weird behavior stopped. No more biting. His fur is soft and his skin issues seem to have disappeared. I never thought a regular dog soap could make such a difference but it has. Amazing!"
Today I'm making Lady Bits Intimate Soap. After adding the lye solution (made with apple cider vinegar), the batter goes through an interesting color change.
If you haven't tried my Lady Bits Soap, you might want to snag a bar. Your lady bits will thank you 😉. By the way, men can use this soap on their delicate man bits, too.

There's something mesmerizing about wet soap tops. Don't you agree?
The best part of making soap is texturing the tops.
Most of us thought we would never use the math we learned in school for everyday tasks, but it's an important skill for soapmaking.
I use online soap calculators to help me create the perfect recipe based on the fatty acid profile of each oil I use, and knowing basic math, especially percentages, helps to scale recipes up and down. I didn't like math very much, but I'm glad I paid attention back then.
What's another skill we all should have in our modern world?
