My name is Samantha and I have been diagnosed with Lupus going on my 7th year. My goal is AWARENESS. I plan on blogging here
I wanted to create a blog to bring awareness to this terrible disease and all of the other disorders that are associated with it.

Life is crazy sometimes. One day you wake up and your whole life is changed! Learning to live that new reality is a journey, a journey that never ends.
These past few weeks have been a journey, that’s for sure. Kind of like a balancing act. A circus balancing act. Don’t be one to judge as you can’t see what goes on behind closed doors.
Life has brought on more pain. I’m so blessed to have my support system. My rock, who is always beside me and my daughter who makes me forget my reality.
Pain is the real devil, a devil that lives inside of you. Aching every bone, tender to the touch. One learns to build tolerance. The mind is a powerful thing, pushing that pain aside! Telling oneself, pain is weakness leaving the body!

you wear purple today please send / tag me Today we put on purple to support all those battling lupus. We need to show the world that Lupus is a REAL disease and we need to find a cure.
