I’d like to introduce you to the newest addition to the Body Mechanix by Wendi clinic… Rachel Henry! Her business name is Compassionate Compressions and here is her story:

Hello, I’m Rachel Henry. I live in Pleasant Hill with my husband, two boys, and fur girl. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy traveling. It’s always been my passion to care for people. For many years I have done that by working in healthcare, specifically surgery, focused on spine and orthopedics. However it has been a long time dream to be a Massage Therapist. In April 2023, I graduated from Body Wisdom Massage Therapy School and became a Licensed Massage Therapist to fulfill that dream. Being a wife, mom, working full time, all while going to school, I learned the importance of taking time for yourself and self care. I want to extend that to my clients, giving them time to take a step back from their busy lives to relax and care for themselves. As they say, “You can’t pour from an empty cup!” I’m here to help you fill that cup! My specialties will be Therapeutic Massage (Swedish), Neuromuscular Therapy (trigger point), and Lymphatic Drainage.

The day is finally here! Body Mechanix by Wendi will be reopening on 4/20. Oh the irony of it. Online booking is now available at www.bodymechanixbywendi.com. And wait until you see the treatment room that awaits.

HOME | bodymechanixbywendi Improve your body mechanics and change your life. Our bodies are finely tuned machines, but after certain wear and tear, they need a little help getting back into balance.  This is our goal. This is our strength.  And this is our mission. 

In spite of the new government ease on restrictions for COVID-19, Body Mechanix by Wendi, LLC will remain closed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience, however the health and safety of both our clients and therapist are of the utmost importance.

As of today April 2nd, Body Mechanix by Wendi will remain closed until April 30th to comply with the governor’s recommendations for Iowa. While I am so eager to get back to work and see my clients, safety must be our first priority. Thank you for your continued support and stay safe and healthy!
