We’re the Davis family, and we’re honored to be bringing Society House Books & Cafe to downtown Valdosta!

We’re spending the next several months restoring a historic downtown building and bringing to life a dream that’s been years in the making.

Our hope is to create a place where people can celebrate special occasions, gather with friends, linger a little longer, and find a great book along the way!

I’m Allesty, a 24-year-old stylist currently working toward my Master Cosmetology license. Beauty has always been my passion, and I love helping clients feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves.

My services include luxury blowouts, wig installs, precision haircuts, lash services, and more. I’m committed to continuing my education and staying up-to-date on the latest trends, techniques, and innovations so I can deliver the best experience possible behind the chair.

I take pride in creating a welcoming, professional environment where every client feels comfortable, cared for, and leaves loving their look.

Hi, I’m Mckenzie!

I’m so excited to officially begin my journey in the beauty industry as a stylist assistant. As I continue learning, growing, and refining my craft, my goal is to become a well-rounded stylist specializing in color (especially vivids!), blonding, and custom cuts.

To me, this industry is about so much more than hair. My mission is to build meaningful relationships and create a space where every client feels seen, confident, and empowered. I can’t wait to learn from this amazing industry and meet all of the incredible people along the way!

⭐️AYDEN CLANTON: New Talent Stylist⭐️

Hi everyone! I’m Ayden. I’m currently a student at Wiregrass working toward becoming a Master Cosmetologist. I have a passion for all things beauty and love helping people feel confident and beautiful. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable and cared for.

I currently offer a variety of lash services, luxury blowouts, haircuts, and styling. As I continue my education and grow in the industry, I look forward to expanding my services to include blonding, color, and hair extensions in the future!

If you would’ve told me a year ago that I would be opening another salon, I honestly don’t think I would’ve believed you. At least not right now. But sometimes God opens doors so unexpectedly, so perfectly, and so clearly that you just know you’re supposed to walk through them.

What started as conversations between friends has slowly turned into something that feels incredibly special — a space built with heart, community, beauty, laughter, and people in mind.

We don’t have an official opening date just yet, but I couldn’t keep this quiet any longer…

We are opening soon. ✨

More than anything, I wanted this place to feel warm and welcoming. The kind of place where people linger after their appointment talking to friends, where laughter fills the room, where everyone feels seen, comfortable, inspired, and at home.

Not just a salon.
A gathering place.
A little retreat.
A community.

I’m beyond grateful for the people God has placed in my life and the opportunities He’s opened that I never saw coming. This has already been such a beautiful reminder that sometimes the best things happen when you least expect them.

As we get closer to opening, we’ll also be looking for booth renters and suite renters who want to be part of something special and community-centered. If you know an artist or service provider looking for a beautiful place to grow, create, and connect, send them my way.

“Hi, I’m Hunter, a future master cosmetologist and the proud owner of Southern Lily Boutique. I’m passionate about helping others feel confident and beautiful through personalized salon services and a curated boutique experience. At Southern Lily, my goal is to create a welcoming, high-traffic space where clients can enjoy both beauty and style all in one place while feeling truly cared for every step of the way.”

Hunter is our go-to girl for all things beauty. She’ll be offering luxury blowouts and relaxing head spa shampoo experiences, with plans to expand into blonding, extensions, and facials once fully licensed.

She brings such a warm, calming energy to the space, and we already know she’s going to become one of your favorite parts of coming into the salon. We can’t wait for you to meet her and experience everything she brings to Downtown.
