Many stylist see dark hair and jump to a higher developer thinking it’ll be hard to get desired lift or to speed up the process… & if blonde is your goal hey it can work!
For me I don’t prefer this approach using high developer is like loosing control for me. I want to know exactly what’s happening in that foil every minute it’s in there!
To create a natural brunette that’s truly low maintenance I also don’t want to rely on a toner to maintain the look (cuz that’s kinda defeating the purpose right…lol) Having control and manipulating my lift to the exact end goal I’m looking for allows me to create true low maintenance brunettes!
No brittle hair, no high developers, just soft natural results like the sun would create🌞

turning an old balayage into a true beachy brunette 🐚🪄
Our goal was to make it look like she didn’t sit at the salon and create a super natural dimensional look for her!!
Filling and toning down a lot of her previous color to make the contrast between dark and light look natural and intentional we achieved this!

I finally feel like I’ve found my magic btc combining all my fav things- being a brunette, how summer makes me feel and the beach 🪄

We did a copper-beachy inspired color back in December for her upcoming trip…. And 4 months later she’s still getting asked DAILY if she just got her hair done!
Color fades but when done with intent the growout can be just as beautiful and natural looking!! Ahhh it’s my favorite 🤭

what’s the benefit to the way I color hair?
Probably the fact that you don’t worry about it! Color becomes you, grows with you and only gets better over time. I love the way the sun brightens my hair and I love creating that in my clients hair.
When your color doesn’t control your life you have so much more confidence and freedom.

Grey hairs WHERE?!
I loveeee using my dimensional custom foil placement to blend in greys on my guests who don’t want to have to be tied to root touch ups!
If your greys are sprinkled throughout and not solid yet this can be a GREAT option for you!
It’s been a year since I’ve last done Jen’s color and she loves having her blonde but loves not worrying about her color more. We focus the blonde where it matters around her face and ends to give her a bright feel for summer and intentional sprinkle in highlights where her greys are coming in so as her hair grows those greys act as highlights!
We also did a SERIOUS chop on her and now she’s lighter, brighter and feeling confident for her upcoming trip to Italy!
