Becoming a mother has been the most challenging and rewarding era of my life. It’s a gift that I never take for granted, no matter how long the days feel. At the same time, my heart aches for the families that struggle on Mother’s Day. Today we celebrate and cherish all forms of “mother”, we celebrate love and softness and care.

Today is my birthday, so I wanted to make sure the studio was full of fresh flowers. Maybe it’s because when I was born, my dad surprised my mom by filling my room with dozens of red roses, maybe it’s because I love spring, or maybe it’s just because flowers bring their own special energy into a space. All these little details bring different energies to the space, and are intentionally here to bring quiet and calm presence in the space (in addition to a little whimsy).
As a Ta**us, I am deeply appreciative of both nature and the material world, and I’m equal parts boujie and crunchy. I appreciate luxury and the finer things in life, but I’m also very grounded and value the little & simple things.
The vibe is cozy but elevated, rich but not expensive. I want you to feel comfortable from the moment you walk through the door. This is my place but it’s your place too. It’s a place for ALL of us—no exclusions.
