I think I'm low on words, but I mean it when I say that I've appreciated the opportunity to be your Esthetician.

I will still keep this page up and my Glymed store will be linked and open as a small way to still support me. I'll be available for product questions concerning their stuff.

If a new opportunity arises that I think y'all will wanna know about, this is where that information will be shared.

Love,
Hannah 💚

Well y'all, I've been avoiding the inevitable for what feels like forever.

One thing about me is that I'm stubborn and don't always know when to let go, but I've been feeling more and more over the last few months that I'm finally ready. That doesn't mean I'm happy about it or that I wouldn't change the circumstances if I could, but I've learned to accept it.

Unfortunately that thing is letting go of what I imagined, designed, built and kept going all by myself over the last 3 1/2 years. I love my little business and I love all of you who have supported me in one way or another. Y'all will never understand how much that's meant to me.

I'm sure a lot of you are gonna ask, "why do you have to close?". Basically, the last year and a half has been very unpredictable.

Remember that crazy snow storm in February last year? You know, the one where all small businesses were shut down for a couple weeks? That was the beginning of the end for Bloom. I then had the best month my business has seen in March of 2023, but it wasn't enough to make up for losing two weeks of income because the bills don't stop. April hit and business was unexplainably slow, as was every month going forward.

Over the next 6 months, at least half of my regular clientele dwindled due to client moves, life changes that would cause reprioritizing of budgets, and the economy meant many of the remaining clients would have to come less often.

I tried a fancy rewards program, promotions for teachers, continuing my free product delivery, partnering with Pomp to offer more products, working on my SEO and getting more reviews to bump me up in search results, but only occasionally would someone new book a treatment. I moved locations to a studio with significantly cheaper rent and tried to bring on a co-leaser to further ease that cost.

It got to where I was, and still am, working gig jobs on the side just to keep Bloom going. It no longer makes sense to stay open.

I will be open through December 31st and will run specials and discount what products I have left during the last week, so stay tuned for that. If you have a gift card, please use it because they're non-refundable.

Thank you 💚

When I knew I'd be moving into a bigger space, my mind went wild with possibilities for new treatments and events within my space. Combining skincare and spiritual care into a treatment is something you don't often see. Ever since I dreamed up such a thing, I've looked forward to turning this into a reality for my current and (hopefully) future clients.

Come join Adam and I for this very special treatment, offered just once per month with limited spots.

Saturday, October 12th at 3:00, 4:00 & 5:00. Located at my studio inside The Providence Academy.

✨ After 171 days of clearing her acne 💚

I was going to wait a couple more appointments to show a before/after, but I am just so thrilled with how far she's made it.

She has been another dream client, diligent with home care and getting her bi-weekly Acne Bootcamp peels. This makes all the difference when clearing the skin. You have to consistently turn over skin cells because acne prone skin is shedding at a faster rate, so when excess oil and bacteria are introduced, inflamed acne forms. This is the type of acne she has struggled with and now it's under control. She no longer gets painful lesions during her period, when normally there would have been serious flare-ups. Now, that's not to say it won't ever happen again even if she stays consistent, but they will be less frequent and heal more quickly. That's what we are striving for when clearing the skin- control over the issue, because it can't be cured.

If you're ready to transform your skin with Skin Revision treatments, which require timely treatments and following home care prescriptives, book yourself a consultation. Comment or DM me with any questions. 💚

So what do we have in common? 💚

✨ Client Review

The key to what makes Bloom Beauty Bar what it is, are my wonderful clients. Without the trust in me that keeps you coming back, I wouldn't get to do what I love. A huge thank you to you all. 💚

If I've worked on you before, I'd love to get your feedback. Google has helped clients looking for treatments find me, which is huge for a small business. Did you know that when you get a service and leave a review on Google, you get $10 off your service next visit? Now you do, so get on it!

I do in-person consultations for skin revision clients, plus ship products or do a free local drop-off for current clients who are unable to make it in for any reason. Reach out or book a consultation and we can get started. You can also shop my Glymed & Pomp stores 24/7 by clicking the link in my bio.

The big news is here!

Bloom Beauty Bar will be moving locations mid-May to The Providence Academy, as seen in the photo. It's only a block down the street from Clash off Evergreen, so no worries about me going far.

I'm excited to show y'all my new space. It has tall ceilings, big windows, it's 4x the size of my current studio, has a large parking lot for you guys and is inside a historic building so lots of cool antique charm which y'all know I love. I will have the exact date soon which I will send out via an email blast and announce here of course, as well as texting everyone before their appointment just to make sure you got the memo.

I met so many wonderful people at Clash Beauty Collective, so it wasn't easy to take the plunge, but new and good things will be coming. 💚

✨ I am asking once again to protect your investment.

This may be the thing that I preach more than anything in my practice and that's because I'm doing you a disservice if I don't. Clients come to me for help with various skin conditions and as much as I would love to be a magic Esthetician who can fix everything in one visit and with no home care, that is simply not how it works. Can you imagine though?

It's pretty simple. You have to use products that work for you, that you're excited to play with twice a day and stick with your routine.

One of my personal tricks for staying consistent, is even on days where I have no energy, I make it into a little at home experience. I will literally go grab a candle, turn off the "big lights" and play music that either pumps me up or chills me out. This way I'm also not able to see every little imperfection, so I can focus and not get discouraged. Try it sometime! 💚

Do you have a hack for making your routine fun or relaxing?

✨ New product available in-studio

This hypochlorous spray is a first-aid to skin concerns such as acne, eczema, rosacea or any skin irritation. It can be used as a "maskne" spray to protect your face against breakouts while wearing a mask or to spray after a workout to kill bacteria. It's also a must-have to use post-microchanneling treatments to bring down redness. Heck, you can even use it to disinfect surfaces like your phone, glasses and other surfaces that may touch your skin.

There are a few products I believe everyone should have in their arsenal to take care of a variety of skin concerns and this is one of those. DM to schedule a product pickup or delivery. 💚

Hey, Bloomers!

I have a favor to ask. If I have treated you, set you up on a skin care routine or given you skin care advice, would you take a moment to review or "recommend" me here on FB? I have built up my Google reviews, but to be more visible on local searches, I need reviews across multiple platforms.

Thank you so much! 💚

Love, Hannah
