From bees to butterflies, flies, wasps, and beetles, these tiny workers play an important role in the season ahead. Great citrus isn’t just about what happens at harvest; it’s shaped by thousands of small decisions, and a lot of quiet work happening throughout the grove. 🐝

Recently our team visited our partner growers. Their journey began in southern Chile and after 5 days, 9,000 miles, 13 partner visits, 3 flights, 2 rental cars, and 1 bullet train, ended in Peru. The most valuable conversations often happen in the groves, over shared meals, and while getting to know the people behind the fruit.

The CUPS (Citrus Under Protective Screen) production system represents a new chapter for the fruit — protecting the trees and allowing growers to deliver the consistent, high-quality grapefruit that built Florida's reputation. Both IMG Citrus and the Mixon Family believe that this kind of innovation, paired with stewardship and long-term thinking, can reconnect consumers with just how good Florida grapefruit can be.

Through this partnership, IMG Citrus will bring the Mixon Family's grapefruit to retailers and consumers around the world — and we're proud to work alongside a partner equally passionate about the future of Florida citrus.

It’s always great seeing one of our own recognized in the industry. Sydney was recently featured by Southeast Produce Council, Inc. Southern Roots and shared a perspective on leadership that reflects so much of who she is and how she approaches relationships in produce.

Grove update: we are continuing to show strong development in our young red grapefruit crops. The fruit growing directly along the main scaffold branches is especially encouraging, as it reflects healthy tree structure, balanced growth, and the tree’s ability to support quality fruit production at an early stage. 🌱
