I rushed to get it ready so I could drop it off before we left.
Then I looked at the address and laughed.

Old Saybrook, Connecticut.

I ran into the bedroom to tell Michael, delighted by the coincidence.
He immediately said, "We should hand-deliver it."

So we did.

We documented every state line, giggling at the hilarity of Wilde Ascent showing up in Connecticut.

When we finally got there, the customer had just pulled into her driveway.
She was so surprised when I walked up and introduced myself.

My husband and I kiss at 5:55 every day.

Sometimes we catch it twice. Sometimes we miss it entirely. Sometimes we find it on a stove or a microwave.

Today, we were driving and the GPS speed sign said 55 mph.
I was also holding a 5 dollar bill.

We said 5:55 and kissed.

It was magical.

I was reading yesterday about the difference between intellect and intelligence.

Intellect names things. Intelligence knows them.

We spend so much time thinking that there is little space left for our intelligence, our deeper knowing.

Silence (not just audible silence, but when our mind is silent) is when we hear the divine.

We stop looking at the tree and begin to experience it.

I wonder how much of life we're missing because we're busy thinking about it instead of being with it.
