embrace all my clients inner beauty and help it manifest for the world to see

This one is for the ladies that are struggling with their curls, feeling defeated by their results, and feeling pulled to straighten their hair again... Please don’t give up!!!
This is her first curly rehabilitation appointment,Not every visit brings perfect results, but each appointment will always better than the last.
Progress over perfection.

Your hair needs time to heal from ammoniated color, over lightening, drying sulfates, and silicones (any “-icone”) that coats the hair, preventing proper water absorption.

Your hair needs unadulterated oils with a molecular size that’s able to pe*****te the structure of the hair instead of coating the outside.

Your hair needs time and patience. Your hair will detox, it’ll be stripped of any artificial smoothing agents.

You’ll be left with raw hair that’s been sealed off from true hydration for years.

It’ll get worse before it gets better, but it’s soooo worth it!!

You’ve got this, and I’ve got you.
#codastylist
we are in the process of growing out a bad haircut so we kept the length around her face and layered on top that way when it grows out it will be better balanced

Growing up with Deaf parents, they have always struggled with my hair .During their childhood, my dad had one Barber his whole life and when he retired my dad had no no one to go to. And the struggle to find somebody to cut his hair was real. nobody took the time to ask questions about details about his haircut. They just gave him the generic haircut and he always hated it because it was always too short.
My mother on the other hand had super thick, loooongg curly hair. She never went to get her hair done. She would cut her own hair once a year and go to the drugstore and pick out a box color.

So when they had my sister and I they had no idea how to do my hair. I mean you see how rough i look in the first picture lol looks like they gave up on me that morning🤣.
Which translated into me hating my hair always wanting it straight always trying to chemically straighten it I would literally go to the dollar store and get the just for me relaxers .

That’s why I’m so passionate about trying to include the deaf community into the beauty industry.
There are so many deaf people that don’t even have access to getting their hair done the way they want it and they spend their whole life looking for that person!
if you’re a hairstylist, please take the time to ride on pen and paper or use voice to text on your phone and really sit down with them and explain to them what they can and cannot do with their hair.

Six ways to make your hair routine better for the planet 🌏 by written by Sandra mardenfeld .
1. Use only what you really need.
we have a tendency of collecting all the curly products under the sink stick to the fundamentals. Shampoo, conditioner, a moisturizer, and a hold.

2. Consider the ingredients in your products.
Ingredients that are good for the environment. Also tend to be better for our hair. If you have sensitive skin, migraines, trying to become pregnant or have an auto immune disorder you should be seriously aware of what you’re putting on your body. Down load the app to help find non toxic hair products

3. Support companies that embrace sustainable practices.
When choosing products, you can also take steps to look into the brands, business practices and values. Look for eco-conscious, brands and organizations that consider how the ingredients and packaging impact the planet and your health.

4. Reduce, reuse, recycle.
practice these three hours in your routine at home and try to choose a salon, committed to reducing waste. If your city has a recycling center, it is best to take your recyclables there.

5. Choose more products with less packaging and more sustainable packaging.
The packaging your hair care products come in have the biggest impact on our planet through end of use pollution. Most hair care products come in plastic packaging, which only has a small number of recyclable opportunities before being tossed in the landfill and inevitably in our oceans

6. Reduce water and energy use
look for ways to use less energy and less water, try washing your hair twice a week. This might seem like a little thing, but washing your hair less often can produce big results overtime. It means less product, water, and electricity.

While ,all these tips might sound overwhelming, just take it one step at a time. Start with one small change, and overtime. You can create an eco-friendly hair care routine that makes both your hair and the planet happy

Your hair journey is a story of embracing what makes you uniquely you. So, let’s share our stories, our hair triumphs, and maybe a few hair-related blunders (we’ve all been there!). Because every strand has a story to tell, and your hair journey is a masterpiece in the making. 🎨💖

••FINDING YOUR PASSION IN LIFE••I see people put so much pressure on themselves to find their passion. I do believe it’s critically important to discover and engage in things that light you up, but it’s just as important to cultivate an un-serious child-like attitude of play, wonder and adventure.
☀️ When you deliberately open yourself to noticing things you might enjoy doing, don’t be afraid of getting it wrong. It’s all an adventure, you’re learning and growing as you go. Happiness research shows that trying new things increases dopamine levels in the brain, contributing to sustained levels of contentment. So try away!

☀️Notice what you love. Notice what makes you feel like a kid. Notice what you long to have more time for.

☀️Make time for these things, whatever you can manage, and watch your life start to change. ☀️

✨It’s really magical.✨
