Brown sugar is a pop-up event series launching in Los Angeles during Black History Month 2023. It is a live cabaret experience with burlesque at its heart, featuring a predominantly black cast of performers, musicians, and bartenders. February 26, 2023 – 6:30 PM. miss out on tickets? We will be taking walk-ins based on venue capacity for both the shell, and after party.

I’m just beaming and so happy that this story is out in the world now. 🥰 For the cover story for the Sunday print today, I wrote about the amazing and inspiring work Carmen and Kara of .market having been doing through their organization and pop-up markets to uplift Black farmers, food producers and the community at large. Another one ☝️… showed me ..165 day b4 and after .. this is my 107 day on juice only vegetables and fruit only fresh by 🙏🙏🙏. Juicing has changed my life and I appreciate it not just for weight loss but cause it helps heal your inside. What we all need to do .. just like we take our cars in for service we need to service ourselves.. changing the oil and fluids, etc ..
