The Craft Atelier

The Craft Atelier has removed all images and videos of minors from our social media.

To be clear: We are not changing our services for minors. Kids and teens are still welcome at The Craft Atelier as guests receiving services. We simply will no longer be posting photographs, videos, or use content featuring minors for marketing purposes.

The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that possession of Al-generated CSAM depicting “fictional” children may, under certain circumstances, be constitutionally protected.

We will not stand for that. The Craft Atelier has always been about creating a space where people can exist as themselves, safely, and protecting kids is not something we are willing to compromise our standpoint on.

We will not knowingly contribute images of minors to a space where they can be manipulated, sexualized, or used to create exploitative content.

No piece of content is worth that risk.
Your kids are still welcome in our salon.
Their images just won’t be on our feed.

We will not be complicit.
