Sometimes you just need a little spark, a little inspiration to get back in your groove. I’ve been coasting for a while. The other day I met a super cool chick. She totally re-lit my fire. Her vibe, her energy, her love for what she does for herself and her family reminded me how lucky I am to love what I do for others also. She helped me remember who I am and my why(s). She reminded me I can do “whatever the f**k I want”. Cheers to getting back on track and continuing to grow and be more present.

To kick off wellness Wednesday -let’s learn about how we can IMPROVE our lymphatic systems! 💗

Did you know- we have DOUBLE the lymphatic fluid compared to blood🩸 !? YET…. Here’s the kicker… THERE IS NO PUMP to get the lymphatic fluid moving! 😱😱😱 Our heart pumps the blood, but our lymphatic system???? That’s up to us! Wowzers, right!? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

👉🏼 Our lymphatic system is located right under our skin. It’s responsibilities are SO BIG & include: filtering our blood, fighting infection, removing impurities from the body, keeping tissues drained & cleaned out… & so much more!

😓 Our sedentary lifestyles, poor diets, & toxic overload have made this VERY difficult on our lymphatic system, which in return wreaks havoc on our bodies.

❔❔ So HOW can we keep our lymphatic fluid moving in the right direction & toxic wastes being processed correctly & moved out of our body? Glad you asked!

1️⃣ Exercise! Move your body! Get things moving! Sweat!! 🏃🏽‍♀️

2️⃣ Dry Brush your skin-While standing, use a spa brush & brush light strokes towards your heart. You want to brush in an upwards motion from body parts below the heart and in a downwards motion from body parts above the heart. ❤️

3️⃣ Rebounding - You could use a mini-trampoline to jump up and down or just stand on your toes on the ground and let your heels bounce up and down. ⬆️⬇️

4️⃣ Eliminate toxic overload in personal care products- Toxic chemicals in skincare ingredients enter the lymphatic system through the skin and are transported through it to the blood. Over
time toxins can build up & can lead to toxin overload/inflammation/disease.

5️⃣ Drink lots of purified water! Stay hydrated! 💧

6️⃣ Eat plenty of vegetables 🥕🥦
