This is the moment you stop outsourcing your health.
Not because something is wrong — but because you’ve reached a point where you’re ready for more.

More energy.
More clarity.
More connection to your body.

Midlife isn’t a decline. It’s a recalibration.
It’s where you start asking better questions:

Why am I always tired?
Why doesn’t my body respond the way it used to?
What does real wellness actually look like for me?
And more importantly — you’re willing to do something about it.

At Rooted Method, we don’t believe in quick fixes or surface-level care.

We believe in creating a space where your nervous system can settle, your body can respond, and your health can evolve in a way that actually lasts.

Massage.
Acupuncture.
Craniosacral therapy.
Sauna.
Sound.

Not as luxuries — but as tools to help you come back into balance.

You don’t have to push harder.
You just have to start listening differently.
This is your next chapter—and it’s meant to feel good.

📍 Rooted Method

A place to return to yourself

There is so much about the wellness industry that people never truly see.

At Rooted Method, nothing is random. The lighting is intentional. The scent in the air is intentional. The way our team greets you is intentional. The pace of the space is intentional. The music, the temperature of the rooms, the products we carry, the providers we choose, the therapies we offer, the way we communicate, and even the way we move throughout the day together all matter deeply to me.

I think one of the biggest misconceptions in this industry is that wellness is simply about luxury or relaxation. While those things can absolutely be part of it, true wellness is far deeper than that. Most people who walk through our doors are carrying more than physical tension. They are carrying overstimulation, exhaustion, stress, grief, burnout, inflammation, emotional heaviness, and nervous systems that have been running on high alert for far too long.

Over the years, I have learned that people can feel authenticity immediately. They know when something is performative and they know when something is real. My goal has never been to create a trendy wellness space built on hype. I wanted to create a place that actually feels different the second you enter it.

People often ask me how Rooted Method has continued to grow the way it has.

The answer is actually simple.
We care deeply.
We pay attention.
We stay intentional.

Every treatment we offer is chosen carefully. Every provider brings something unique and valuable to the table. Every service is designed to support the body as a whole rather than simply chasing symptoms. Even our environment itself is part of the therapy.

There is a reason people often tell us they feel different here before their service even begins.

I am incredibly proud of what Rooted Method has become and even more proud of the people within these walls who help bring this vision to life every single day.

Nothing here happens accidentally.

And I believe people can feel that.

POV: You thought feeling puffy, swollen, exhausted, heavy, or “off” was just part of being an adult in 2026. 👀

Meanwhile your lymphatic system is over here like: “Can someone please move me along?”

Unlike your heart, the lymphatic system doesn’t pump on its own.
It relies on movement, breath, hydration… and sometimes a little support. ✨

So how often should you actually get a lymphatic drainage massage?

For general wellness + maintenance:
Every 3–4 weeks - Perfect for keeping circulation flowing, supporting detoxification, reducing bloating, and maintaining energy.

If you feel bloated, tired, inflamed, or sluggish:
Every 2 weeks - Especially helpful if you:
• Sit for long periods
• Travel often
• Wake up swollen
• Hold fluid in your stomach or legs
• Feel “stuck” in your body

For hormonal bloating + cycle support:
1 session the week before your period
Many clients notice less heaviness, tenderness, and abdominal bloating.

Perimenopause + menopause support:
Every 2–3 weeks
To support inflammation, swelling, fatigue, fluid retention, and overall regulation during hormonal shifts.

But here’s the interesting part… 👇

Most people don’t realize stress impacts lymphatic flow too.

So if your nervous system is constantly in fight-or-flight, your body often holds onto inflammation, fluid, tension, and stagnation differently.

Your body isn’t “high maintenance.”

It’s communicating.

Tell us honestly:

What’s your body been trying to say lately? ⬇️

Everyone’s chasing the next beauty hack while your mitochondria are begging for support.”

Red light therapy is having a moment… and honestly, for good reason. ✨

What most people in Virginia Beach think it does:
• Helps skin glow
• Boosts collagen
• Smooths wrinkles
• Supports post-workout recovery

What it’s also quietly doing behind the scenes:
• Supporting immune health
• Helping calm inflammation
• Easing joint discomfort
• Energizing your cells
• Supporting better sleep
• Helping regulate hormonal balance
• Rejuvenating skin from the inside out

Very “main character energy,” if you ask us.
This isn’t just about looking well.

It’s about creating an environment in the body where healing, recovery, and regulation can actually happen.

And around here? We’re choosing wellness that lasts longer than a trend cycle. ❤️‍🔥

“Wait… isn’t all infrared sauna the same?” 👀

Not exactly.

And once people experience full spectrum infrared, they usually understand the difference pretty quickly. ✨

Traditional saunas primarily heat the air around you.

Full spectrum infrared works differently by using specific light wavelengths that pe*****te the body more directly — helping you heat from the inside out instead of just sitting in a really hot room sweating endlessly.

Here’s where it gets interesting:

Full spectrum means you’re receiving all 3 infrared wavelengths:

❤️ Near Infrared
Supports skin health, collagen production, recovery, and cellular repair.

🧡 Mid Infrared
Helps circulation, muscle recovery, and easing physical tension.

❤️‍🔥 Far Infrared
Supports deep sweating, detoxification, relaxation, and nervous system support.

Translation?
This is more than “just sweating.”

Clients often notice:
• Deeper relaxation
• Better sleep
• Reduced inflammation
• Faster workout recovery
• Improved skin tone
• Less stiffness and joint discomfort
• More energy afterward instead of exhaustion

And for people who normally hate saunas?
Full spectrum tends to feel more tolerable because the heat feels softer, gentler, and more penetrating instead of overwhelmingly hot.

Honestly, it feels less like punishment… and more like therapy.

Very “wellness upgrade” energy. 🌊

Have you tried a full spectrum infrared sauna yet — or are you still loyal to traditional saunas? ⬇️

We love when couples come in for sauna.

But there are two very real relationship paths happening here:

Option 1: The “Together” Couple
Books the same time.
Walks in holding hands.
Sits side by side like, “this is our moment.”
Five minutes later…
Talking about schedules, kids, dinner plans, and something someone said in 2018.

Leaves like: “That was lovely… we’ll see you tomorrow.”

Option 2: The “See You Later” Couple
She books Tuesday at 10:00.
He books Thursday at 6:00.
Same package. Same place. Same goal.
Just… not at the same time.
Because nothing says healthy relationship like: “I love you enough to not sit in a hot box with you right now.”
Slides into the sauna alone.
Door closes.
Peace. Quiet. No questions. No needs. Just heat and healing.

Comes home like a brand new human:“You can talk to me now.”

Honestly?
Both are right.
We love the “let’s sweat together” energy…
and we deeply respect the “give me 40 minutes and I’ll be a better partner after” boundary. Which one are you?

Sciatica has entered the chat… and suddenly sitting, driving, sleeping, walking, and even putting on your shoes feels personal. 😵‍💫

Most people think acupuncture is just for “relaxation.”

Meanwhile, clients with sciatica are often walking out saying: “Wait… I can actually move again.”

Sciatica isn’t always just a low back issue.

It can involve inflammation, muscular tension, nerve irritation, compensation patterns, stress on the hips/glutes, and nervous system overload all happening at once.

Acupuncture works by helping the body:
• Calm inflammation
• Increase circulation
• Release muscle guarding + tension
• Reduce pain signaling
• Support nerve function
• Relax the nervous system

And in Traditional Chinese Medicine, we also look at why the body may be struggling to move energy and circulation properly in the first place.

That’s why treatments are rarely “cookie cutter.” ✨

Some clients come in with:
• Sharp shooting pain
• Burning sensations
• Tingling or numbness
• Tight hips and glutes
• Pain traveling down the leg
• Symptoms that flare with stress, sitting, or overuse

And while every body responds differently, many people notice:
“I’m sleeping better.”
“My leg finally feels less angry.”
“I can sit without wanting to cry.”
“The pain isn’t running my whole day anymore.”

Sciatica can make you feel trapped in your own body.

The goal isn’t just temporary relief — it’s helping the body regulate, release, and recover more effectively over time. ❤️‍🔥

If you’ve dealt with sciatica before, what was the hardest part about it? ⬇️
