Black History Month,

This empowering story is a sad one but I have to tell it because it is now part of our black history.
Now we have a president and several governors that want to diminish Black History Month, Martin Luther King holiday, Diversity ,Equity , Inclusion and they are already dismantling affirmative action.
The government would like our children to believe that all people are created equal in the eyes of the law, and this is the way it should be, but we must work tirelessly to make it a reality ,but some law maker still see color and want to divide us ,but we can still strive to make it better.
We will continue to teach our children our history and surround them with people who know the truth.
We are seeing more people trying to stand up against racism every day, and they are creating a better future for all of us to live by.
