🍓 A New Chapter for The Pungo Strawberry Patch Gift Shop 🍓

After much prayer and thoughtful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision that this will be our final week in our brick-and-mortar location.

While we’re closing this chapter, The Pungo Strawberry Patch Gift Shop isn’t going anywhere. In fact, we’re already excited about what’s ahead!

You’ll continue to find us at pop-up markets, community events, and through our online store. We’ll also continue to play an active role in the wonderful events happening right here at Pungo Square. We’re already planning for this year’s Fall Festival, our Christmas Market, and, of course, an even bigger and better Strawberry Festival next year!

Although our storefront is changing, our mission remains exactly the same: to celebrate Pungo, support local businesses and makers, and create a place where faith, community, and agriculture come together.

If you’ve been meaning to stop by the shop, we’d love to see you one last time in our current space. Your encouragement, purchases, conversations, and friendships have meant more to us than words can express.

🍓🌕 Look Up! The Full Strawberry Moon Rises Monday, June 29

The Full Strawberry Moon reaches its peak on Monday, June 29, 2026.

Despite its sweet name, the Moon won't actually appear pink or red. The name comes from the short but celebrated strawberry harvest season in parts of North America, when wild strawberries were traditionally gathered by Indigenous peoples.

June's full Moon is also one of the lowest full Moons of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, giving it a warm golden glow as it rises and sets. It's the perfect excuse to spend a little time outside on a summer evening.
