Let's talk inclusivity... I've always felt the disparities in the medical community when it comes to being q***r. Gynecologists ask Wildly inappropriate questions about my partner & I. My pelvic floor physical therapist said I didn't have "penetrative s*x" ... wrong. She also did not have the correct size dialators for anyone who is transitioning. My pelvic floor app specifically uses he/him pronouns when referring to the partner. Some doctors have deeply clouded judgement due to religion. I truly believe that universities need to be more stringent on who they allow to move forward into the medical community. Doctors need to treat with out bias. If someone is racist, s*xist, or homophobic in school or during a residency.... then they will move on to be a bad doctor & their patients will suffer.

I just wanted to share an app I found that is absolutely amazing. I've been saying I need this forever now (I need to start acting on these thoughts lol) but someone finally made an app called where you can record your doctors appointments, it will transcribe them for you & highlight key details so that you have a record of every appointment. This would have helped me so much in the past... when a doctor says one thing & then doesn't remember by the next appointment, when I'd hear so much that I'd start to forget certain details before I got home & finally when doctors have acted incredibly unprofessional in the past. Amazing tool for people that go to the doctor a lot, especially when you're going alone.

●LISTEN TO ME●

The past couple of weeks have been a roller coaster. I have had doctor, after doctor disregard my feelings, both physically & emotionally. Whether it's speaking over me when I'm relaying important information, trying to push medications on me that I don't feel comfortable taking & then denying me the ones that I've been taking for years or arguing with me when I don't agree with a course of treatment. & Somehow my calls have just not been returned. They always want you to come in for an appointment even though nothing has changed because they want that office visit fee. I've had doctors give me straight up incorrect information, then when I state the correct information, they cop an attitude. Just listen to me, listen to us... it's so fu***ng simple.
