Our newest addition to F+F, Nicole is our resident color+extension specialist, as well as our in house photographer!
After growing up in the Bay Area and getting her beauty school education in San Francisco, she has spent the last 8 years expanding her training working in salons in both Southern and Northern California. She has dedicated her time to learning the WHY behind the products she uses, and she loves to focus on keeping her clients hair as healthy as can be. Her love for her extension work also comes from her love of meticulous arts combined with a desire to help clients who have experienced hair thinning and hair loss.

Our plants, pottery, and beauty care will be priced to SELL at up to 40% off! Blaine will be running the shop on Friday and I will be there on Saturday. November 1st was somehow our 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY and we don’t understand how??????

We’ve had so many ups and downs but we have constantly adapted to make this business dream a reality. Blaine and I love our little shop, and we’re thankful to everyone to has helped it come to be.

If you’ve been in recently, you know we’ve been making A LOT OF CHANGES in the past 6 months!! I (Shelbie) have pivoted away from the shop and begun to pursue my previous expertise - indoor plantscaping & supply for local businesses. This has meant that we’ve had to say goodbye to our public retail shop 🥲 I miss it sooooo much but I’m thankful for the years of puttering around, decorating, and plant shopping with all of you 💚 I do want to emphasize that you can STILL BUY PLANTS at Fringe & Fern, but our selection is much smaller and can be shopped BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. And if you are interested in getting custom plant design and weekly care for your business (or possibly your home), pretty please fill out the form on our website and I would be happy to work with you in this exciting way! 🌿

With all the space this change has freed, we are now continuing our salon and barbershop expansion ✂️💈Excitingly, this means we have added more stylists to our team! We can’t wait for you to meet them 😍
