Appreciating the earth a little extra today. 🌏 I try by using company’s that support sustainability. Upcycled or recycled bottles, biodegradable shampoos and conditioners, natural earth friendly cleaning products and laundry soap for the salon, biodegradable trash bags, reduce waste, recycle at the salon, reduce VOC when I can, no artificial fragrance or candles, reusable coffe cups and drinking glasses, glass and bamboo based items over plastic when I can. What do you do to reduce your footprint?

Everything you put on your scalp is absorbed into your body and is the difference between buildup, irritation, healthy scalp which encourages hair growth. When your products contain plastics such as dimethicones, and PEGs they will build up in your follicle (causing hair loss), on your scalp (causing dermatitis) and on your hair strands (causing buildup and breakage). Absorbing into your bloodstream and down the drain. Synthetic ingredients such as artificial fragrances can also disrupt your hormones. Oh the list goes on!
