My beautiful Karma Krew, I have missed you!!

May 26th we welcomed our beautiful, healthy boy into the world and we’ve been soaking up ALL the newborn snuggles and quality family time ever since. As much as I’ve loved being home with my family, I’m so excited to get back behind the chair again in just a few short weeks!

My first day back full time in the salon is August 4th and my books for August are already filling up. My first available opening for an after hours appointment is currently August 17th and my first available Saturday is September 19th. Please feel free to reach out to me with any inquiries or to get scheduled while I have the availability! I love you all and I’ll be seeing you very soon!💕

…and just like that, my maternity leave has officially arrived! The last 9 months have been such a wild ride and I cannot express enough the gratitude I have for everyone and their patience with me as I adjusted to each phase of pregnancy. I was determined to work until 39 weeks and I’m proud to say I was able to do that with your support.

As I step away for the summer, I want to assure you that should you need anything at all in my absence, I leave you in Abby and Jodie’s extremely capable hands. Please take care of them in return and know I have FULL trust in all they do. I plan to start back taking clients the first week in August, but keep an eye out because I may open a select few slots earlier than that if I’m feeling up to dipping my toes back in early. I am so beyond excited to welcome my precious son into this world and I can’t wait to share this next phase of motherhood with you when I return.

Finishing out my last week of work before maternity leave with one of my favorite color combos! I love how this gingery blonde highlight/lowlight combo enhances her natural color! This beauty is now officially ready to hit the Miss Arkansas Outstanding Teen stage!

Copper and purples may be my new fav color combo! I mean COME ON!! Nothing screams “summer” like a fun pop of color!!

This curly girly was ready to shake things up and requested a big change that would feel fresh, be low maintenance, blend her silvers, and wanted lots of volume. This rooted blonde paired with a shaggy cut was the perfect pairing for her lifestyle and styling her natural curls was the cherry on top!

I have a special place in my heart for my fire engine red girlies!! I love how this black and red color transformation from last night turned out!

Hey Karma Krew!!! I am 33 weeks pregnant today and rapidly approaching the end of my time in the salon before our sweet boy arrives! With the end being so near, I just wanted to keep everyone updated on my availability and get some important info for when I leave to you just in case he decides to come earlier than planned.

✨SCHEDULING✨

My Saturdays pre-maternity leave are completely booked and I am currently booking Saturday appointments for September. If you desperately need a weekend appointment, we do have openings as early as mid May for one of the other girls in the salon and I would be happy to help you get set up with one of them.

My after hour appointments on Tuesdays are completely filled pre-maternity leave and are now being booked for mid to late August when I return!

My weekday availability is quickly filling up specifically for chemical appointments. I have 8 appointment slots open before I go on leave over the course of the next 5 weeks. If you’d like to get booked for a chemical service or a haircut before I leave, please make sure to reach out to me ASAP to ensure you secure a slot.

✨BABY ARRIVAL✨

Many of you who have routine appointments have already pre-booked through the summer with Abby which she and I both so appreciate. If you have any of these appointments pre-booked, be expecting a message from me this week just to touch base and confirm all those appointments and pass along Abby’s contact information.

While my hope is to make it through 38 weeks before stopping working, should our sweet boy decide to make his arrival earlier than that, Abby or Jodie will be reaching out to you directly through the phone numbers you’ve given for your client profile to get you rescheduled as soon as possible. Please be kind and patient with them as they will be doing this as a favor to me on top of coordinating all of their own clients. All of my clients that I service have notes in their client profiles about what we typically do and they will have full access to that should one of them need to service you last minute instead of me. I trust these girls fully and I have no doubt they will give you a fabulous experience in my absence!

I’m so thankful for all the love and support you’ve all given me and sweet baby Stetson throughout this journey and the patience you’ve given me while adjusting to this new normal. So many people think I’m crazy to be determined to work for as long as I am, but it’s because they don’t understand that I really do have THE BEST clients and I am excited to share these final weeks of this experience with you!💕

Partial highlights are one of my favorite mini services for the warmer months because it packs a punch of brightness while still keeping that dimensional depth for a fraction of the price!

Just because everything outside is yellow currently doesn’t mean your hair has to be! I loved getting to give this beauty a much needed refresh today before she heads out on yet another travel nursing adventure!
