If you haven’t heard, Shear 503 has officially transitioned into a Level Salon! Our stylists are now categorized as Master, Established, or Emerging based on their experience, demand, and continued education.

And now, we’re excited to introduce something new… our very first Apprentice Stylist is ready to start building her clientele! ✨

Over the last several months, she’s been working hard behind the scenes — running our front desk, shadowing and assisting our stylists, and learning everything she can about the salon industry. Now, she’s ready to take the next step and grow her skills behind the chair!

As an apprentice, she’s still gaining hands-on experience, so we’re looking for clients who are open-minded, flexible, patient, and willing to be part of her learning journey. If you’re not super particular about having every detail just right and would love to support a new stylist as she grows, this is the perfect opportunity! 🫶

Just a friendly reminder, this is one of our busiest times of year! We know summer came and went quickly and schools have either already started or start next week. With that being said, we have limited availability over the next couple days!

Also, we will be CLOSED Sunday August 30th for a deep clean on the salon and much needed rest day for all employees. We will also be closed Labor Day so please plan ahead. As always, we appreciate all our understanding clients 🙏 Have a great weekend!

I'm sure you've seen these lovely ladies at our front desk at some point over the years, mostly on weekends. Both have multiple years on our front desk as Shear 503 has provided them thier first jobs. Now both of them graduate this weekend and go on to further thier education. 🫶

Kailey will be starting at Clatsop in the fall to pursue her dream of being a Pediatric nurse and Arabella will be starting her journey in Cosmetology. We all wish these girls the very best and are routing for thier success 🙌

Its graduation week for Clatsop County! Its the beginning of summer! Events are happening all around us and everyone has waited til the last minute to try and "squeeze" in. We are busy! Which is GREAT! We are so thankful! 🙌🥳 But also, we are only human and can only do so much 🤷‍♀️

Please 🙏 do NOT take it out on our front desk if you just realized all the photos you'll be in this weekend will be around forever and you are displeased with how your lack of prioritizing led you to have to try a little harder to make your hair look on point 😏🫶

On a real note, please plan ahead. We have some openings left for haircuts and sometimes you get lucky walking in, but we will be short this weekend and very limited. So please, plan ahead or be kind ❤️

Yesterday we had the pleasure of awarding a senior a scholarship for the 3rd year in a row. As a small business in Warrenton we find it so important to give back to the community. Whether its helping with fundraisers, contributing to auctions/raffles, sponsoring sports teams or helping fund a students career path, Shear 503 is always honored to give back to the kids.

We are so blessed to live in such a giving & supportive community. The way businesses come together to make things happen for these kids is something we all should be so proud of. 💜🖤🤍

At Shear 503 we love a challenge! Well, some of us do 😏😂 Two stylists tackled this color correction together to pull out this at-home pink hair color 🙌

We can't always guarantee that we will achieve the results your looking for, we pray to the hair Gods and hope your hair cooperates and do everything in our power to preserve the integrity of your hair. We refuse to compromise your hair to give you the result you're going for. These things take time and patience and thats what this client had. After only 4 hours, this client was blown away at how blonde the hair reveal was and so were we! We'll take it!🙌

We are excited to get some in-person color education on some brand new Wella products and expand our knowledge on the utilization of our amazing color line. As always, it is our goal to achieve your desired results in the most effective way that also leaves your hair feeling better then when you stepped into the salon!

We had the best client in today 🐐 she was so calm, gave the best snuggles and was brought in by one of our receptionists herself 🥰

Its truly a big deal to us to help support these kids locally and happy we were a part of passing the goat 🐐 the snuggles are a huge plus!
