It gives me the opportunity to celebrate the richness of Zambia’s heritage, inspire others to embrace their cultural roots, and remind people that our traditions are treasures that should be preserved and passed on to future generations. Through my participation, I hope to educate, inspire, and uplift my community while proudly representing our heritage with dignity, passion, and pride. My name is Khristine Shumba, a proud daughter of the Ngoni culture.

I am honored to be part of Miss Heritage Zambia 2026 because heritage is the foundation of identity. It is where our morals, values, and sense of community are rooted. I am taking part in this pageant to celebrate my culture and to show young people across the world that tradition and progress can walk hand in hand.

As a Miss Heritage Zambia finalist, my mission is to educate, inspire, and preserve. I aim to use my platform to promote cultural education in schools, champion values such as respect, integrity, and unity, and work with communities to protect our languages, arts, and traditions for future generations.

I believe that heritage is not just about where we come from, but also about the legacy we choose to leave behind.
