First tried this in the advent calendar for Christmas and fell in love!! (I’m still holding on to that teeny bottle)

I am so happy they decided to make this a permanent product!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾 It’s great for my normal/oily skin, has an SPF of 40, and is also water resistant.

I hope they keep this as part of their permanent skincare collection because I am a fan!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾

I received this serum and a face cream complimentary from and to try out and review.

I lovvvvve skincare products especially when they have ingredients that help to even out your skin tone.

I’ve been using this Dark spot serum with and which is more stable than ascorbic acid for a week and I really like it!

The serum is extremely light weight, it’s not greasy, it has a slight clean scent that goes away after application, and it works extremely well under makeup.

About five or six years ago (maybe even longer) when I was still working as a freelancer for a few cosmetic brands I would always get into these long conversations about beauty and technology with my peers.

I would always explain that in the future companies would create devices to help people effectively be able to apply their own makeup. I would then explain why we all needed to push women and especially young girls to become interested in STEM and AI so that we could participate in creating the future.

I decided to take my own advice and in 2019 I filed an application for a preliminary patent for an invention. I sought out a patent writer who was amazing and extremely helpful, and black owned invention firm, but I got discouraged because the process was overwhelming and extremely expensive so I stopped.

This year I will pick up where I left off because it’s important for us to know that we are capable of doing more than only providing services and creating more cosmetic brands in an already over saturated market.

The future is now, and I want to see us as innovators, movers, and shakers!! Happy Saturday!!
