No matter how how most of us try, we never manage to get the >5 severvings of fruits and veggies per day. Even if we think we've got it right, our serving size is too small or its juice and not fruit. So many of us need supplementation to our diet. Protein is one of the 3 building blocks of nutrition ( along with Carbohydrates and Fats). And like anything else, there are good and bad forms of protein. Meats and cheeses high in fats are less desirable vs lean meats and greek yogurt. Nuts are also a great, non dairy source of protein. There are many forms to choose from, and they'll all very tasty.
