🚨 HELP SAVE THE BCI@DOC VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM 🚨

I am asking our community, alumni, employers, workforce advocates, and supporters to contact your DC Councilmember and urge them to restore funding for vocational training programs within the DC Department of Corrections.

For nearly 30 years, Bennett Career Institute has been committed to transforming lives through education, workforce development, and second chances. Through the BCI@DOC Program, incarcerated individuals gain hands-on career skills that prepare them for meaningful employment, entrepreneurship, and successful reentry into society.

This program has been recognized for its impact and was even featured in The Washington Post. Every day, we witness lives being changed through barbering, cosmetology, entrepreneurship, and workforce training.

Vocational education is not an expense—it is an investment.
