I keep screenshots of every sweet text. I keep every "thank you" card.

It's so easy to feel overlooked and under appreciated, especially having a job that's not related to the actual production side of the wedding day. There's no messing up when it comes to this job, and that pressure can be really overwhelming. But every now and again I'm reminded that I do, in fact, make a difference and that I know *exactly* what I'm doing.

Our job as makeup artists is just as important and detail focused as the rest of the wedding. Because if the bride doesn't love how she looks, that can impact her photos, her energy, and how she feels looking back on her wedding day.

I'm so, so so lucky to have the incredible brides that I do, and I just feel so honored that I get to share such an amazing day with them.
