Historical Barber fact: The origin of the red, blue and white barber pole is associated with the service of bloodletting and was historically a representation of the bloody bandages wrapped around a pole. Mike's Barbershop no longer offers bloodletting services, but we still give great haircuts so come in and see us soon.

In 1308, the world’s oldest barber organisation, still known in London as the “Worshipful Company of Barbers” was founded. Mike's Barbershop was founded in 1966. We don't have a crest, maybe we should get one.

Random celebrity hair fact: Mr. T got the idea for his signature Mohawk after reading an article in national geographic about the Mandinka warriors from Africa. Also, he has been known to pity fools. Mike's Barbershop wants to cut your hair, maybe you'll be a celebrity one day and this can be you.
