After 20 years behind the chair, I have learned that trying to be everything to everyone does not serve anyone.

I do not specialize in everything. I don't take every client anymore. I do not work every hour of the week -- because after 20 years, physically, I can't. And I do not change my pricing because someone else offers something for less.

What I have learned is what I am really good at, what I love doing, and the kind of work that keeps me excited to come to the salon.

For me, modern grey coverage, blending, brunettes and extensions. Creating hair that feels current, customized and works for the woman wearing it.

Knowing what makes me happy behind the chair actually makes me a better stylist for you.

And if I am not your stylist, that is okay too. There is someone out there who is.

That first shampoo isnt really washing your hair yet. It's breaking through the oil, dry shampoo, styling products + buildup sitting on your hair and scalp.

The second shampoo is where the real cleanse happens. With that building out of the way, your shampoo can actually cleanse the hair and scalp properly.
