Out of 200+ submissions, I was selected as one of 12 finalists… and by God’s grace, I walked away as the 2026 AACS x L’Oréal Student Stylist of the Year – Best Overall Winner.
This was my first hair competition, and it challenged me in every way. From travel delays and canceled flights to moments where I questioned if I’d even make it, everything reminded me that what’s meant for you will never miss you.
To my instructors, Tricoci University, L’Oréal Professionnel, AACS, my family, friends, and everyone who’s supported me along this journey—thank you for believing in me before I fully believed in myself.
This weekend gave me more than a trophy. It gave me confidence, connections, inspiration, and proof that I belong in rooms I’ve only dreamed about.
The work doesn’t stop here.

I had so much fun creating this and coming up with stuff as I was going . I learned a lot as well as I made mistakes. I hope we going to the big stage - Beauty Blitz was a blast 💕✨
My first ever hair competition ! I found out about the & AACS competition the week that it was due . I started my project on Monday and it was due Friday . I worked in between clients while at school the entire week . It was soon as worth it seeing the end results .
