Unfortunately I have been scheduled for a surgical procedure.

As a result, Strip will be closing temporarily on May 25th, 2022. I will plan to reopen on June 24th, 2022, however - depending on how I am feeling it could be sooner!

If you have any upcoming appointments scheduled within that time frame, I will be reaching out to see if we can get them rescheduled!

If you don’t have any upcoming appointments yet, PLEASE make sure you go ahead and schedule so I can get you in before I go out on leave!

FACT- Topical acne medications thin your skin, causing them to be a contraindication for waxing.

Yes, even for eyebrows.

Although you may not apply topical creams directly to eyelids(or the eye area in general), the product will still migrate to the area once absorbed into the skin.

Waxing the face while using a topical acne medication will cause the skin to lift, resulting in the exposed skin to scab over. That is why it is EXTREMELY important to let your wax specialist know if you are using any related product(s), and to stop using these products 5-7 days before your wax appointment.

**In the event that this may happen, apply a cold compress to the skin(avoid putting ice directly onto the skin), followed by an antibacterial ointment such as Neosporin.**

So just to reiterate - ALWAYS remember to let your wax specialist know if you are using a topical acne cream prior to waxing!✨💕

Another Brow Transformation..😍✨

A lot of clients ask me what they should use in between wax appointments to keep their ingrowns at bay. So I wanted to share what I use, and what I recommend to everyone because this stuff is A M A Z I N G.🙌🏼✨
