✨ “Do you know how to work on my skin tone?” ✨ Short answer: YES. 🤎 And honestly? I get this question all the time. The first few times I was asked, I was a little offended. 😅 I felt doubted. But over time, I realized it’s actually a completely valid question. In the beauty industry, people naturally gravitate toward professionals who they feel will understand their unique concerns. Whether it’s mature skin, curly hair, or deeper skin tones, we all want to feel seen and understood. ❤️ So now when someone asks me this, I get it. And I love being able to answer with confidence: YES, I do know how. 🙌 Color theory is color theory. While every complexion requires a customized approach, the fundamentals don’t change. Some days I feel confident and cute in my bathing suit.
Some days I step on the scale while cramping and suddenly spiral into “I need to wear this every day so I don’t gain weight.” 🤪😩 Being a woman is exhausting sometimes. 
And having a brain that notices EVERYTHING doesn’t help. 😂 My psychiatrist once told me I have a very busy mind and honestly… that tracks. 
I can hyperfocus on whether my outfit is cohesive, whether my bra and underwear match, whether my body looks different from 3 days ago, whether my hair feels “right.” My brain wants everything to feel balanced and settled all the time. But I’m learning that not every uncomfortable thought deserves a courtroom trial in my head. Some days the OCD/body dysmorphia gets loud.
Some days I still wear the swimsuit anyway. And maybe that counts as healing too. 💖 05/21/2026

Love ya bestie, but here’s why you should NOT come see me every 6–9 months for a colorboost 👀✨ Permanent makeup NEEDS time to fade properly. I know sooo many of you LOVE your brows when they’re fresh or newly healed (as you should 😍), but continuously packing more pigment into the skin too often can actually cause the brows to look muddy, overly saturated, and even puffy over time. 😩 Pleaseeee give your PMU some time to soften and fade before booking another boost. 💖 While I’d absolutely love to see you more often, your long-term results will always come first. 🤞🏼✨ For most clients, once a year is the MAX for touch-ups/colorboosts. ⏳ Also, while shaded brows can usually be refreshed multiple times without affecting the long-term look too much, hairstroke brows are different. You can only do hairstrokes a handful of times before it’s best to transition into a softer shaded brow. 🪄 Healthy skin + beautiful long-term healed results will ALWAYS be the goal over quick touch-ups.
