I always remind clients that a professional makeup artists kit and how it’s cared for says a lot about the artist you’ve selected.

Here are some things to look for to ensure you have selected a safe, sanitary makeup artist:

⭐️ Insurance: At minimum, make sure they carry insurance.

⭐️ Safe practices: Disposable lip and mascara wands, and a tidy, visibly clean kit.

⭐️ Clean brushes: A brush cleaner and extra brushes so every client gets clean brushes.

⭐️ Hand Sanitizer: You deserve to be touched with clean hands.

⭐️ 70% alcohol spray or a professional cleaning spray.

I love them and at times will layer them. Here are my current favorites 🏆🏆🏆

IT Cosmetics : “Your Skin But Better”
Great for any skin including dry/sensitive. Non-aerosol, hydrating fine mist is hydrating and has skin loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid, coconut water, and aloe vera.

ONE SIZE: “Powder Melt”
Fine aerosol mist. Hydrating and gets you that glass-like finish. This is perfect for anyone who uses a lot of powder and doesn’t want to look cakey.

ONESIZE: “On til Dawn”
Fine and powerful aerosol mist, locks makeup in place for hours, waterproof, mattifying, controls oil and visibly blurs pores.
Tip: Yellow cap contains sunscreen. What a great way to protect your skin and reapply sunscreen.
