IT’S FINALLY PEEL SZN 🐍🔥
You may think of Fall when you see leaves turning and candles burning but I think of Fall when I see that skin peeling!! It’s peel season, so what does that mean?
It means we are entering our fall season of resurfacing treatment care! Tackling those skin concerns we neglected in the summer, getting ready to shed some skin and start new!
Our absolute favorite recommendation is the 3 Peel Series, this will help ease you into the peel season starting with a Level 1-2 minimal downtime/minimal shedding and then working your way up to a more aggressive Level 3-4 peel to really shed some skin and reveal healthy new tissue!
Peels can accomplish so much and there is a peel option safe for all skin types, tones & concerns! We also offer Body Peels for back and buttocks areas as well. Consultation is required for new clients before starting a peel series, this will ensure you are a valid candidate for chemical peels some product prep may be required before starting a series. Let’s all shed some skin and get ready for the new year together! See you in the treatment room 😍

Do’s & Don’ts of Skin Care
SPF: y’all are going to get sick of hearing me talk about sunscreen but idc because it is VITAL. If you want good skin, wear the damn sunscreen & reapply every 2 hours 🙃
Double cleansing: Always remove your makeup prior to cleansing your skin. One cleanse will NOT do the job. Oil cleansing helps remove excess oils without stripping the skin AND removes makeup! It is essential to double cleanse every night to remove dirt, debris and makeup & to prep the skin for the true cleanse.
Antioxidants: Use an antioxidant serum every single morning. They neutralize free radicals, applying them onto your face can save your skin from future damage and help to repair the damage that's already been done.
Monthly facials: Go see a licensed skincare professional to learn more about your skin type/ condition and the best products to take care of it, as well as receiving treatments to obtain your skin goals
Moisturization: ALL skin needs hydration, especially acne prone skin! You have to nourish your skin to help it function properly. Lack of hydration can cause your skin to over produce oils to compensate for it, making you more oily.
Over-exfoliating: can cause a plethora of problems, such as: damaged skin barrier, sensitivity, redness, dryness and more. Only exfoliate max 3x a week.
Neck & Décolletage: No one wants their face to look 30 but their neck and chest look 60.
Makeup: sleeping in makeup will AGE YOU! This can cause fine lines & wrinkles and break outs. Don't be crusty, wash your face before bed.

Does starting a skincare routine at home make you feel overwhelmed?
For a BASIC skincare regimen all you need is a CLEANSER, TARGETED SERUM, MOISTURIZER & SUNSCREEN
Always remember that less is more, especially if you’re creating your own routine without the help of a professional.
It can be easy to get carried away and use too many products which results in dehydrated, inflamed and red skin.
When looking for a cleanser, you need to find one that fits your skin type. If you don't know your skin type, a gentle cream cleanser is a safe option.
For oily skin: gel or foam cleansers work best
For dry skin: cream and oil cleansers work best
For combo skin: gel and cream cleansers work best
Now let's talk serums... this can be a very confusing category for many newbies in skincare.
SERUMS are for targeting specific skin issues. If you have dull skin, look for an exfoliating serum such as an AHA or retinoid for the evening & a brightening serum such as a vitamin c or antioxidant for the morning. For acne prone skin, always make sure you’re hydrating the skin as well. Don't use a blemish serum in the morning and evening… just pick one time a day to use.
Now let's talk sunscreen... if you are dry OR just want a basic skincare regimen, your sunscreen can double as your moisturizer depending on the type and the brand. Make sure you find one that contains ceramides if you decide to go this route.
And lastly… moisturizer! Depending on your skin type, the type of moisturizer you choose can vary. I recommend heavier night creams for those who are dry, aging, dehydrated, or just love the feel of a nice rich cream. I choose oil free moisturizers for those who are more acne prone and oily.

Sunscreen plays a vital role in blocking UV radiation from being absorbed into the skin. UV radiation damages the skin and can lead to sunburns and skin cancer.
Don’t forget to reapply every 2 hours! 📣
My favorite sunblock is GlyMed’s Photo-Age Environmental Protection Gel. Super lightweight, leaves no white cast & smells delicious! Purchase yours through the link in my bio. Thank me later 🥰
