Before this day is over, I want to shoutout all my fellow Aestheticians/Estheticians!!! Our job isn’t always glamorous, and our hard work & dedication sometimes goes unnoticed, and unappreciated… those days are HARD. but on those good days maaaannnn…. Those days that puts a light back into someone’s eyes when they feel beautiful again, those days you are there to catch someone’s tears when they lost someone they loved, those days when ‘thank you’ is in the form of a review, a rebook, a big hug, or a tip that helps you keep your business going… it makes it all worth it. 🙏🏾Because you love the work that you do & they love it too!! 🥂 Cheers to all of my sisters and brothers out there doing the damn thing!!!! Here is my first attempt at cutting my own hair!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The process:⁣⁣
-I invested in a pair of scissors ✂️ ⁣⁣
-Found a YouTube video that I felt comfortable using for my first cut (ManesByMell)⁣⁣ . I did the pigtail haircut! Super easy and not too many steps.
-Didn’t wash my hair or brush it for a few days ⁣⁣(that’s why it looks matted) 🥴
-Used my new products from !!! ⁣⁣(which I love by the way)

I didn’t want to over cut, and I’ll be dusting my hair as I see fit. What do you think?! ⁣
