Earlier this week I got to check out Elevation Coffee Roasters and it was so good! The baristas are super friendly & my lavender latte was delicious. They have oat & almond milk, but only care whole milk for cow’s milk. I’ll definitely come check it out again & try a fresh pour over next time!

Which do you prefer?

Periodically I try out different mail products to see how they compare to Color Street and to see how it does with making my nails healthier. Well, a few weeks ago I tried out some press on nails and a new cuticle remover that DESTROYED my nails and the surrounding skin. 😩 I broke almost every nail on my left hand so I took some time to strengthen and moisturize and now I’m ready for fall.

It’s November 1st. Are you team “It’s Christmas Time” or team “Wait Until December”? Personally, I dabble a bit now but mostly wait until after Thanksgiving in the US.

This latte was SO GOOD. I took my recipe from last week & tweeted it a bit. Here’s the recipe so you can try it (make sure to like & save this so you have the recipe for later!). Let me know what you think!

•Maple Brown Sugar Latte•

- Syrup flavor-
2 TBS hot water
1 TBS brown sugar
1/2 TBS maple syrup
Pinch of cinnamon

3 tablespoons ground espresso or coffee
4 ounces water
8 ounces milk

(1) Combine 2 tbs of hot water, tbs of brown sugar, 1/2 tbs maple syrup & cinnamon. Stir until all is dissolved and pour into the bottom of your mug.

(2) Brew the coffee however you prefer, using only 4 oz of water to get a strong brew. Pour into the mug

(3) Heat the milk in the microwave or in a saucepan until hot and steaming, but not boiling. Use an immersion blender or frother to beat the milk until frothy.

(4) Add the hot coffee to the mug and stir to dissolve the sweetener. Pour in the milk and spoon the foam on top. Sprinkle with brown sugar & cinnamon and serve.
