7 years ago, the Lord blessed me with my own space. Some of the people who started the journey with me are no longer in my chair. Some have moved on to other stylists. Some have moved on to Glory. I am grateful for everyone who has ever sat in my chair.

I would especially like to thank all of you who are still with me. I'm not who I was when I started this new career 16 years ago. I'm not who I was 7 years ago. You all have seen all kinds of changes: physical, emotional and spiritual. You have had your own changes. I'm blessed that you have chosen to share your journey with me. Olive Garden might sue me, but when you're at Slate Salon, you're family. I love and appreciate all of you!

As of January 1st, the grace period for appointments will be decreasing from 15 minutes to 10 minutes.

If you are 10 or more minutes late, you will need to reschedule your appointment.

This may seem harsh. However, if 5 clients are 10 minutes late, that is 50 minutes which could be my lunch time or another haircut appointment.

Every appointment is scheduled for the exact amount of time required to complete the service. Being late impacts the client after your appointment.

During extreme weather events, I will do everything I can to SAFELY accommodate appointments. When necessary, appointments may have to be rescheduled. I appreciate your consideration and cooperation.

I have worked every Saturday for the past 16 years. Beginning January 1st, I will no longer be working the first Saturday of each month. Please be mindful of this when booking appointments. The best way to ensure you get the day/time you need, is to pre-book. I offer annual bookings for this reason. You can book up to the entire year in advance.
