Here’s the general rule:

Wax 24–48 hours before your spray tan so your pores have time to close, preventing the tan from settling into them and leaving behind little dark dots.

But there’s an exception—
If you’re using Infinity Sun Normalize, you can spray tan the same day as waxing. Normalize acts as a pore primer, coating and protecting the skin so your tan develops evenly—no speckling, no weird dots. Just make sure you thoroughly remove all wax residue and oils before your tan.

Quick tips for best results:
• Use a gentle cleanser or exfoliant to remove leftover wax and oil.
• Spray Infinity Sun Normalize to prep the skin and seal the pores.
• Avoid lotion, deodorant, or perfume right before your tan.

Everyone is asking if you can get a spray tan after dermaplaning. Yes, you can spray tan your face after dermaplaning—but timing is everything.

Here’s the best practice:

Wait at least 24 hours after dermaplaning before getting a spray tan. Dermaplaning removes the top layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair, leaving your skin ultra-smooth—but also temporarily more sensitive and absorbent. Spraying too soon can lead to:
• Uneven color development (blotchy or patchy areas)
• Overabsorption of DHA (the tanning agent), which may result in an unnatural tone
• Skin irritation, especially if the dermaplaning included any exfoliating enzymes or acids

Pro tip:
Make sure the skin is well-hydrated (not oily) before your spray tan. A gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizer used the night before can help the tan go on smoothly and fade evenly.
