Im Incredibly excited to bring you this next blog post. The first guest writer for the blog is my dear friend .
Based in Brooklyn, Jad is one of the few people that will make me genuinely belly laugh, and is also the best Smash Bros player in the whole world.

Jad brings to us ‘The Ritual’. A humorous and endearing story of finding identity and connection in the rituals we create for ourselves, as well as Jad’s real weekly hair care routine for his amazing coily hair.

Fun fact: I straightened his hair once and it only stayed straight for maybe 2 hours because it’s too powerful.

It’s been an entire year since my last blog post!
I found myself having a lot of fun doing the blog and it became a great creative outlet for me, but it felt somewhat clinical and a little too professional. I took a step back to bring a little more soul and identity to the blog, to have a more community and cultural presence.
