Woohoo got Big Beauty back and got aome@progress done along with some sweet skin luv peeps yesterday- thanks for the trust y’all. Big Beauty is home getting a new window put in and few other things while I’m seeing my awesome skin peeps in Big D- see you guys soon yay!

Van update: Been working on skin peeps and the new Traveling Ivy website while ‘Big Beauty’ skin luv van is in the ‘beauty shop’. Many thanks to y’all for all the luv along the way and words of inspiration too. Cant wait to see you all soon!

28 years ago today, we lost our amazing sister Martha to Melanoma. She was beautiful, smart as a whip, quick witted and could make anyone laugh out loud. She lived her life out loud. Taken much too soon at the age of 44, those of us who knew and truly loved her, miss her each and every day. I can tell you she’s one of the biggest reasons I take what I do with my work luv, clinical skincare, so seriously. I always have my eyes on y’all when working on you to see if anything unusual has popped up since our last visit. Some of you know if I see anything questionable, I’m already driving you to the nearest Derm myself. Just a friendly reminder to please remember your annual checks as even I, a skincare professional, recently had a pre-melanoma in my left ear (which I never saw as can’t see inside my ear unless I use a mirror or take a pic which I now do). My Mayo Derm found it on my annual skin checkup and immediately froze it which kept it from becoming something much more serious. Forever grateful for the time we had with Martha. Always proud of you guys for taking such great care of yourselves and your skin like you do.

San Mateo Merchant Marine Queen in 1946. She was 19 years old with the world by the tail. Last pic of her before saying good-bye at age 93, still as sharp as she could be. Even with such a lifespan, she was such a special girl, beautiful inside n out. Such a treasure. Miss you every day in every way mom. Happy Mother’s Day to all.
