These lips are going to Vegas in 2 weeks! Their owner wanted her first ever subtle rejuvenation. Less than one syringe of a softer filler provided these lovely results without too much of a recovery period. Now we can send them off on an adventure.

Happy to share the results of this gentleman’s Morpheus8 journey. It wasn’t easy - he inhaled a good portion of a Pronox tank at each session 😉. But here you can see the changes that occurred with multilevel microneedling and radiofrequncy stimulation. I want to emphasize that he has had no fillers and no weight change. The results are from selective fat remodeling and reduction in laxity. He’ll maintain these results with an annual session… and I’ll have a full Pronox tank ready. 🙂

Lip journey: this lovely young lady wanted to build her upper lip. It was her first lip filler experience, so I talked with her about allowing that to happen over a couple of visits. I started with a full syringe of a more robust filler to build structure, and let her go home for 8 weeks to allow it to fully integrate. She was very patient and, when she returned, I added another partial syringe to her upper lip to add to her shape. She feels like she has lips now… and she wears them well. While she shows some swelling immediately after, this will all settle down in a few days.

This ray of sunshine said she wanted to work on the shadows in her chin area. We did a couple of things. I placed a touch more Voluma to her midface using the line of ligaments there to add support. Then I used RHA4 via cannula to soften the mental crease (the deep line that develops between the chin and lower lip) as well to blend the shadows in her marionette region. The results are multifold: (1) the cheeks are subtly resupported, (2) the marionettes are softened without added bulk, (3) the mentalis crease was softened and corners of lips lifted which (4) supported her lower lip, giving her the appearance of having had her lips done. Stealthy anti-aging treatment ✔️

While I see this beauty’s lips every day, they had never been touched with filler until just about 1 week ago. The shape has some seriously strong anatomy. Please note that she is blessed with one of the nicest Cupid’s bows… and those philtral columns extending upward just accent it. Her lips needed hydration though and she wanted to add a soft pouty volume to them.
While you don’t see it in the photos, I spent some time pre marking her anatomy so that I wouldn’t weigh the upper outer portions of her lips downward. I didn’t want them to look angry, but rather softly pursed and sexy.
I placed her filler in multiple layers to create structure and dimension. How much? Well, we decided to stay just a bit shy of a full syringe. Not too little - or she’d want more as soon as the initial swelling went down, and not too much. Her after pics were taken 1 week later (you can still see a few purple dots that are healing). Watch out world, here she comes! :)

t’s been a year and a half since this beautiful patient had her last lip refresh. Every set of lips is unique and should not be filled at prescribed intervals. Individualized treatment will allow for smoother and more symmetrical results with lower risk of filler migration. Today we used one syringe of Kysse to reset hydration and shape, and she’s ready to go.

We are all on our own anti-aging journeys, are we not? We get to decide how much and how often, how conservative, how affordable. This lovely lady hadn’t supported her midface area in 3 years. Life has been a bit busy for us all. I used 2 syringes to add support in the midface and to soften some of the changes below her mouth. This was a very modest treatment but you can appreciate the changes in the regions of her eyes, cheeks and mouth. The joy in this approach to care is that you let me know the areas that concern you most and I help you create a plan to address those concerns while treating your face as a whole.

First time filler for this beauty. She wanted to maintain her proportions just add a little of love. This was less than a full syringe and she makes it look great!

This gorgeous mom has been busy growing and caring for little ones over the last few years. She wanted a conservative and rejuvenating bit of self-love at her visit with me. I used a combination of fillers to support and strengthen at multiple depths, creating a soft change in her mid and low face. Happy belated-Mother’s Day!

A little lip love for this beauty with a pronounced “M-shaped” lip. We did a lot of work on releasing portions of that upper lip to allow it to rest gently on her lower lip. She already showed soft bruising at the end of her visit, but scroll thru the pics and the final photo shows her fully healed at a return visit a few weeks later. This change was accomplished with one syringe of Defyne.

You saw this lovely face start her journey with Morpheus8 in my August 24, 2021 post. I’m very happy to share her follow up pics taken 12 weeks after her third treatment. She opted to add a resurfacing add-on to her neck during her last treatment which gave an additional smoothing boost to her superficial skin texture. It’s a great way to enhance results with no significant change in the recovery phase. Beautiful results for this beautiful human.

FILLER MIGRATION. Filler sometimes moves beyond its intended location causing undesirable changes in appearance or function. Multiple variables come into play including your unique anatomy, an injector’s technique, the product used, the frequency and amount of filler, the age of the filler, and sometimes bad luck. Unfortunately, problematic filler can cause issues for a surprisingly long time when left alone.
The good news is that hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved, and while it may take a few sessions, we can return your anatomy to its baseline. Then we can start over fresh.
The beauty pictured here had 1 syringe of filler placed over two sessions in 2017. It was great initially, but over time caused some changes to her smile that she didn’t like and to her overall shape that I didn’t like. (I saved her story to my profile if you missed it) Rather than trying to add filler to what was already causing problems, she allowed me to dissolve the old filler and start over from scratch. Success!!!
