My mom (82)... My job keep my parents safe and hopefully keep them laughing. It’s challenging at times with her dementia, but, showing her love, creating her beautiful with purpose is a pure joy. And, I attempt to be the observer at a distance with my pops as to not disrupt his routine.
My pops (85) is a triple threat high risk... Age, transplant recipient and a suppressed immune system. I worry about him falling = hospital and that’s ugh a terrifying thought.
I’m extremely fortunate not to be alone during this quarantine.
PS I lied I have two clients duh 🙄 can’t forget Lord Grumpy, my pops lol

I’m not making light or fun of a very serious situation with this meme.
I fall on a bit of humor when I’m scared.
I’m making a choice I believe to be the safest action to be taken within the current state of affairs.
I work in a salon with over 70 stations and just under 100 stylists.
With a weighted heart I’ve decided to stop taking appointments at least for the next couple of weeks.
As the days roll out we’ll take a temperature check to see what’s happening and address things as they unfold.
I am grateful for all of you.
It’s been an absolute privilege to be able to Create Your Beautiful with Purpose. 🥰 With hopes we will continue our hair journey when the time comes through your understanding.
