Let’s talk mature skin! As we age, the layer of our skin called the epidermis becomes thinner and less firm. This makes it tricky when it comes to microblading because the depth that the blade needs to be in contact with has less wiggle room. As microblading is more traumatic than using a tattoo pen, it is usually not recommended for mature skin. However, when done correctly, microblading has no real age limit! Every face and everyone’s skin is different, just find an artist you trust 😉

Yearly touch up for Sam 😊 it’s recommended to get a little color boost a year or two after your initial sessions, but again, everyone heals differently and you can do so sooner or later. They’re your brows.. but better 😉

She is beauty, she is grace 😌 I really think these eyebrows livened up her already beautiful face! We went with natural hair strokes and opted out of shading so she could get a feel for microblading. We can always add shading or more strokes at the touch up appointment!

Your brows, but better! Microblading doesn’t have to be a huge dramatic transformation, but I’m not opposed to those either 😉 we can always start soft and natural and add more at the ✨touch up✨

Microblading with machine work shading! This client had quite a bit of pink scarring from previous work she had done 10+ years ago. She wanted her brows revamped, bolder and darker, so that’s what we did ☺️

This is why touch-ups are mandatory! Your microblading or powder brows aren’t considered complete until the second appointment because that’s the finishing touch that really solidifies the shape and all the work we’ve done. I like to go lighter during the first appointment so the client can adjust to their new brows. You can always add more pigment but you can’t take it away! Jillian came back and wanted MORE (my favorite) so we decided to hit the front with more pronounced hair strokes and do a powder brow for the tail. Thus, the combo brow was completed 😌

I love a good transformation 😊 not only were we able to give her a good tail, but we worked on leveling them out a bit, raising her lower brow and taming her high brow. Amanda will be back in 4 weeks to perfect these babies!
